STAFF APPRECIATION EVENTS for 2023-2024
October: Snacks for Fall Parent Teacher Conferences
Help us provide snacks to our staff putting in long hours to prepare for and carry out parent-teacher conferences. Sign-up Link is HERE.
December: Holiday Gift Card Drive and Treat Day
The PTO organizes an All-Staff Gift Card Drive during the Holidays as a thanks for their hard work first semester. This is an opportunity for families to donate an amount that is comfortable for them and all of the funds are pooled together and split evenly among ALL staff (including bus drivers) in the form of gift cards. Staff members are given about 10-12 vendor options and get to choose their gift card source. We deliver the gift cards on "Treat Day" which includes donated treats from our parent community in the Staff Lounges.
March: Snacks for Spring Parent-Teacher Conferences
Help us provide snacks to our staff putting in long hours to prepare for and carry out parent-teacher conferences.
May 6-10 - Staff Appreciation Week
The PTO encourages the GCMS Community to write handwritten thank you notes to staff during this week. We are providing coffee and bakery items on Wednesday, May 8th and the Community is providing donated snacks and treats on "Treat Day," Friday, May 10th.
Also on "Treat Day," we will be presenting all staff members and bus drivers with gift cards purchased from our All-Staff Gift Card Drive.
